"Drogba unknown? He had just almost single handedly got OM to the final of the UEFA cup bossing Liverpool home and away in the process and finished 3rd in the French scoring charts. Sorry no i get it players have only been heard of if they play in England or Spain or in the Champions League Do you think Chelsea would have spent ?24 million on a virtually unknown player?"

"Fed-up Roman Abramovich plans to abandon Chelsea's Galacticos policy and drive down the age of the squad in the summer - Fantastic. I can't wait to see the likes of Kakuta, Stoch, Matic, Sturridge & Bruma in the 1st team! "

"Rooney at present, for me, is better than Messi not just for goals scored but all round play, Messi is unreal on the ball but off it???? Rooney all round is about as good as it gets I think, and this is from a neutral ie. not a Manc, Scouser, cockney or anyone else who may have underlying issues"

"if you look at the top 3 players...they play for Argentina, Portugal and England...but if you look at best international sides Spain and Brazil. You will see that its a team game and i dont think you can look much further than these two. The team that wins the world cup is going to have to beat one or both of these teams to pick that famous trophy up!"

"Torres is better than all of them anyday...ynwa"

"rooney has been awesome no doubt about it, i'd have him playing for pool next to Nando ANYDAY but in my opinion Messi with a football is a GENIUS. If anyone of the current generation is to be remembered as a true great it bet my house its him.
peace out guys & enjoy the pool vs untd game"
